Work Advance is an independent research and advisory practice shaping policy on the labour market, workforce, skills and education. Our vision is a more inclusive labour market and a future-ready skills system, built on evidence of what works.

We work with government, industry bodies, employers, trade unions, professional bodies and educators, combining decades of policy and delivery experience – including from within government itself – with evidence gathered at national, regional and local levels and informed by international best practice. 

Our approach is client-centred and practical: we blend research and consultancy with strong stakeholder engagement to shape policy, co-design tailored programmes, and support delivery through to monitoring and evaluation.
